I’m Mara Henao, a digital designer from Colombia, currently happily based in Barcelona, with over 18 years of experience in creative direction, branding, digital experiences and visual communication, tailored to different business goals. I create clear, consistent and scalable brands and digital products by combining design, strategy and attention to detail. I collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and enjoy working on projects where design has a real impact on both the product and the people.
I start by researching and asking the right questions. I analyze the brand, business goals and user needs, collaborating with stakeholders and teams to identify real problems, opportunities and priorities.
Based on insights, I define concepts, structures and flows. I develop ideas through sketches, wireframes or visual proposals, combining creativity, strategy and usability. Continuous feedback helps refine and improve each solution.
I follow the project through to implementation, preparing final deliverables and paying close attention to technical and visual details. I ensure consistency with the brand or design system so that the solution works well across all touchpoints.
